A man from Sheboygan who has spent 36 years sharing his passion for green and gold with tourists worldwide is the 26th member of the Packers Fan Hall of Fame.
Since the mid-1960s, Dan “Bogie” Bogenschuetz has been a lifetime supporter of the Green Bay Packers.
“I recall that they used to pack the snow up against the rails when the season ended. After the game, we could go onto the field and slide down the hills while climbing the goal posts. The good times were those. At a ceremony on Monday, Bogenschuetz took his plaque and added, “Don’t try and do it now.”

Bogenschuetz has planned group outings to Packers games both at home and away since 1987. After a few years of planning motor coach trips for both home and away games, he was transporting up to 320 people. He began by first taking family and friends. Dan started planning flights about the year 2000, and he now transports 56–110 people to games. Dan has visited 26 different cities with his fellow Packers supporters. Dan traveled to London in 2022 with eight friends to see the Packers play the Giants.
“The following year, I became a Vikings and Lions season ticket holder just to get my 320 Packer tickets every year to go up there, and I would donate the other tickets to the Boys and Girls Clubs from those states,” Bogenschuetz recalled. “I remember the time I slept outside in Minnesota for three days and two nights just to get 320 Packer tickets.”
According to Bogenschuetz, he has never had a third generation travel with him before until this past year.
The remaining contenders are:
