Anthony Joshua offers to intervene to prevent Tyson Fury from losing in Saudi Arabia following Gypsy King’s
shocking injury.
Tyson Fury’s sparring partner has destroyed the plans of the Saudi boxing head.
Anthony Joshua is prepared and eager to intervene and restore Tyson Fury’s skin.
The 35-year-old world heavyweight champion withdrew from the undisputed final fight scheduled for February 17 against Oleksandr Usyk, the head of the WBA, IBF, and WBO, citing a cut sustained during practice.

The unfortunate announcement was made just three months after the Gypsy King’s awful performance caused the four-belt match to be postponed following their narrow points victory over boxing rookie Francis Ngannou in October.
With barely five weeks’ notice, London 2012 icon AJ jumped in and gave Otto Wallin a hard time to save that December 23 Saudi Arabia concert.
Additionally, SunSport has learned that the fearless 34-year-old will gladly reschedule his fight against Ngannou for March 8 in order to retain the date with the Middle Eastern boxing heavyweights.
“There’s no doubt Anthony would be willing to do it again—he saved the day before,” an insider with AJ Boxing SunSport adds.

“AJ enjoyed a short Christmas vacation in Dubai after defeating Wallin, and he returned to the gym immediately to get ready for Francis Ngannou.
“AJ has been collaborating with Saudi Arabia since 2019, and they are aware of his dependability and credibility in completing tasks, even with little notice.”
Even with AJ’s assistance, the event organizers have already been told to demolish all of the makeshift structures put up in Riyadh, implying that a miraculous Plan B is not possible.
Fury left for his training camp in the desert on January 2, but he will probably be out for three months since he needs professional surgery to repair the deep cut.
It is understood that Jai Opetaia, an Australian cruiserweight star, caused nightmares for the 6-foot-9-inch Morecambe behemoth prior to his abrupt termination as a sparring partner.
Additionally, Moses Itauma, a 19-year-old southpaw prospect, had great success when shaping up against the unbeaten monster.
However, the gash over Fury’s right eye was caused by 20-2 unknown Agron Smakici.
The 20-year-old skilster should be concerned because this is the same eye that Wallin struck him in 2019, resulting in a 47-stitch wound that will take time to heal.
“I am completely disappointed after preparing for this fight for so long and being in such excellent shape,” declared the injured tourist.
“I’m sorry for everyone who was a part of this significant occasion, and as the eye heals, I’ll work hard to get ready for the new date.
What effects does this have on boxing?
The saddest thing, according to SunSport’s boxing writer Wally Downes, is that the British boxing media wasn’t really surprised by this.
There were many rumors that Fury was having trouble sparring with juvenile wonder Moses Itauma and cruiserweight King Jai Opetaia.
It did not appear likely that the Gypsy King would jeopardize his relationship with the Saudi paymaster and Turki Alalshikh.
However, the catastrophe has now materialized.
SunSport was invited as recently as Friday afternoon to a media day scheduled for February 6 at Usyk’s covert European camp.
Additionally, a ridiculous million pounds was spent on the publication of a mega-money promo that included elements of eight Hollywood productions.
Fury might recover in a few weeks if the injury is merely a cut.
However, Otto Wallin’s vulnerability to a bleed that required months to heal was demonstrated against him.
The initial, uncontested decider was postponed since Fury was dropped and rendered ineffective against Francis Ngannou in October. However, the unseen money men came up with an amazing replacement in the form of AJ vs. Wallin.
And now they could take extreme measures to make up for it.
“I apologize to all those who were impacted, including our hosts and my friends in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as my own squad, Squad Usyk, and the undercard fighters, partners, and fans.”
Usyk is moving on with a media day on Tuesday after completing his training camp in Spain.
On February 17, the 37-year-old former undisputed cruiserweight champion of Ukraine is anticipated to continue fighting.
The long-awaited mandatory challenger for the IBF is Filip Hrgovic, but his recent performance has been lackluster, and there won’t be much interest from the general public in that bout—especially given the hype surrounding Fury vs. Usyk.
The heated internet video of the alleged deep-cut incident has been viewed by Usyk’s staff.
After spending eighteen months seeking a fight with the unpredictable Brit after Usyk dethroned AJ with consecutive point victories, they are not entirely persuaded that it is genuine.
The no-nonsense squad goes so far as to say that they were more unhappy than astonished when Fury blew the historic fight with a stunt.
