Darko Rajaković officially welcomes his new baby.
The Toronto Raptors head coach and his wife, Veronika, officially welcomed a baby boy named Jordan today, the team announced.
The Rams used a clever social media post to reveal that they had handed Jordan John McVay to the McVays as a transaction in order to herald the birth of their kid.
Before training camp began in July, McVay disclosed that he and his spouse were having a child. They then made it known in September that the baby was due in late October. There was significant conjecture in recent weeks as the due date drew near regarding whether McVay would miss a game because of the arrival of his soon to be child.
When asked if he would miss a game if it fell on the day of his son’s birth, McVay answered in the negative to reporters on October 13, indicating that would not be the case.
When McVay talked with reporters on October 18, he dispelled any notion that he would truly miss a game.
McVay stated, “I believe a lot was made of me missing a game; I’m not going to miss a game.” My youngster is aware enough not to show up during a sporting event.
McVay was able to witness Wednesday’s Rams practice. He told reporters that in honor of his late grandfather, an NFL head coach and executive, he and his wife gave their baby the middle name John.
It’s strange how things turn out. According to McVay, “it’s extremely special because his initial due date was October 31, the year my grandfather passed away.” Even if you don’t think there is a higher power, you will occasionally notice unusual things happening. I’m from a religious family. I’m a man of faith. You are aware of the impact my grandfather had on my family and me. He also had a unique bond with Veronika.
I felt it was only fitting to give him my grandfather’s middle name. His influence is still felt today. I am aware that he is grinning at what happened yesterday as he looks down.
