Pickett Says Goodbye.
With the message, “Thank You, Pittsburgh!,” the 25-year-old quarterback shared a photo of himself sprinting out of a tunnel while wearing a Steelers jersey. My life completely changed seven years ago when I moved to this city. I’m thankful for the incredible people I had the good fortune to meet and the people that helped me along the journey. I formed interactions and lifelong friendships that I will always treasure. I am now honored and eager for the next chance I will have in my career to play for the team that first introduced me to the game when I was a young player. Go, Eagles.

Pickett Needed A New Start.
Pickett was raised in New Jersey as an Eagles supporter and now gets to play for the team he adored. Pickett will be Jalen Hurts’ backup quarterback; Hurts is, without a doubt, the starter, therefore he won’t see the field unless something were to happen to him. Pickett deserves a new beginning, and it’s great that he’s getting one with the team he grew up rooting for.
