Four more veteran defenders have been signed by the Cleveland Browns.
The fourth defensive lineman to sign a free agent contract with the Browns is Trysten Hill. In addition, the team added defensive end Ogbonnia Okoronkwo and defensive tackles Dalvin Tomlinson and Maurice Hurst to its roster.
Hill has recorded 39 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, and 1.5 sacks in his four seasons in the NFL
Hill was suspended for one game in 2021 for unsportsmanlike behavior and needless roughness after hitting offensive lineman John Simpson of the Las Vegas Raiders during their overtime victory, which ended in a 36-33 victory. After filing an appeal, Hill’s two-game suspension was eventually lowered to just one.
Mike Ford is a star in Special Teams.
Ford, the cornerback, is a unique team star. He finished 2022 with eight defensive tackles and seven special team tackles. Michael Rothstein of ESPN recently said that he has become one of the league’s best players on special teams and is a major asset there. If necessary, he can also play safety or corner. He has had 53 solo tackles and eight assisted tackles in his five years in the league. He attended Southeast State throughout his college career.
