The Premier League’s financially dominant paradigm is clearly threatened by government regulation, and it appears the Merseyside team is being used as an example to exercise control.
But even that appears destined to fail, as the Chair of the CMS Committee, Caroline Dinenage MP, has shown by citing it as evidence for the increased need for regulation.
Vitaliy Mykolenko’s growth at Everton under Sean Dyche is highly praised by Paul Brown.
Journalist Paul Brown says Sean Dyche “deserves a lot of praise” for assisting Vitaliy Mykolenko in progressing to the next level in his Everton career.
The January 2022 transfer from Dynamo Kyiv to the Ukraine international has been one of the Toffees’ top players thus far this season.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT on November 18, Brown believes that Mykolenko’s recent progress might be attributed to Dyche.
He said: I think there were a lot of questions about him, but I think Sean Dyche deserves a lot of credit for being able to get him playing in better positions and with much improved form.
Mykolenko has been more involved at the opposite end of the field, where he has been scoring goals and appearing in the box, than he was at Everton, where he used to be highly involved in build-up play.
Safe hands
Mykolenko isn’t far behind Jarrad Branthwaite, who has perhaps been Everton’s greatest player thus far this season.
The 24-year-old’s defense has improved, but his ability to come off the bench and make an impact in the latter third has also drawn attention.
Mykolenko scored against Crystal Palace the previous weekend after scoring in the 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on November 4.
Although he hasn’t assisted on any goals this season, he is unquestionably a much more well-rounded player this season than last.
Manager Dyche has done a fantastic job of making Everton a much more structured side of late, which goes a long way toward explaining the upturn in results.
This means that, even though the 10-point deduction was a huge blow, the Toffees are in safe hands with Dyche at the helm.
