To gain bragging rights over Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua merely wants to fight Francis Ngannou.
It has been said that Anthony Joshuau is just competing against Francis Ngannou to outdo Tyson Fury.
In order to compete against Fury in October, Ngannou decided to postpone his MMA career and enter the boxing ring last year.
And after being down in round three and forced to go to the wire for 10 rounds, Fury nearly had the worst night of his life.
With a contentious split decision, he was able to avoid elimination from the title match that was scheduled for
February 17 against Oleksandr Usyk.
Since a rematch was out of the question, Ngannou made a deal with AJ, whose superfight against Deontay Wilder was ruined when the American lost.
Carl Froch, a retired former super middleweight champion, thinks Joshua is merely facing Ngannou in an attempt to get Fury to perform better.
