The anticipated timing of Lionel Messi’s injured recovery has been updated by Inter Miami’s assistant coach, Javier Morales.
Messi was forced off against Nashville in a CONCACAF Champions Cup match, and he has been sidelined for more than two weeks due to a mild hamstring problem. The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner is training light in an attempt to return for Wednesday’s match against Monterrey after missing the Herons’ match against D.C. United and the international break as a precaution.
