Jamora claims Hayes chased her around the house, grabbing her multiple times, tossing her, and dragging her down the stairs.
The first instances of violence took place on February 14, 2021 (Valentine’s Day) in a hotel room in Dallas. Hayes allegedly hit Jamora with a suitcase and broke a bathroom door.
As of Saturday, the NBA has yet to comment on the claims against Hayes.
Hayes has also been sued for harassment by Jamora the same day he had his altercation with the Los Angeles police in July 2021. The 21-year-old was arrested after being involved in a fight with the police, who were investigating a domestic dispute between the basketball player and his girlfriend.
In Hayes first year in the NBA, he was visibly livid when left out of a game on an All-Star weekend.
“The NBA’s a bunch of bullshit,” Hayes said in a video. “The NBA can really suck my d**k, for all I care.
“I hope you see this video, by the way, and fine me. But yeah, man, s**t’s just crazy to me. I work in a f***ing political league that’s all about politics. It is what it is.”
Hayes later apologised for the comments he made.
