Joe Mixon: “That’s Clown Behavior” in response to the Bengals’ possible cut of him

Running back Joe Mixon of the Bengals does not anticipate being cut.

The 27-year-old replied to a tweet indicating that the team intended to let him go this offseason.

Mixon tweeted, “Y’all said this last year too.” “Clown behavior, that.”

It’s important to note that the narrative to which he replied is merely a rumor and not an official report.

Mixon has an $8.85 million 2024 cap hit and is scheduled to get a $3 million roster bonus on March 17. If the former Pro Bowler left the Bengals, $5.8 million in cap space would become available.

The Bengals must decide by March 17; it is uncertain what they will decide.
