The third-year defensive tackle, known by his colleagues as Baby Aaron Donald, started every game for the previous two seasons. As part of a successful three-man rotation that also included Tyleik Williams and Ty Hamilton, the Streetsboro native finished the season with 24 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and two hurries.
Ohio State is awaiting word on whether those veterans, along with defensive ends J.T. Tuimoloau and Jack Sawyer, intend to enter the NFL.
After playing very little as a true freshman, Hall made waves in his second season by dominating Notre Dame on opening night. He recorded 2.5 sacks on eight snaps during a midseason game against Michigan State, demonstrating his potential dominance.
This season, despite playing only the 12th most snaps, his 29 pressures placed him third on the defence.
His ability to penetrate the interior will be hard to replicate, which should make him a desirable NFL prospect.
