TYSON FURY: “PRIME OF MY LIFE” TARGETS ANTHONY JOSHUA SHOWDOWN AFTER OLEKSANDR USYK UNIFICATION FIGHT
After dispelling rumors that he was going to announce his retirement, Tyson Fury declared that he was at the “peak of my life.” Due to an eye injury sustained while practicing, the heavyweight boxer was forced to postpone his unification fight against Oleksandr Usyk. Fury asserts that there is no truth to the rumors that the 35-year-old was about to give up, despite others doubting the validity of the situation.

Tyson Fury has debunked rumors that he is about to announce his boxing retirement by revealing a five-fight schedule that includes a matchup with Anthony Joshua.
The validity of the heavyweight’s eye injury has been called into question, leading some detractors to speculate that the fighter may be prepared to retire.
The 35-year-old discovered the issue while preparing for his historic fight for unification against Oleksandr Usyk, scheduled for February 17.

However, due to the necessity for “extensive stitching,” as Queensberry Promotions put it, the event has been rescheduled until May 18.
In preparation for the rescheduled fight, which he has hinted may be the first of two between the two, Fury is currently recuperating.
He posted on social media, showing the cut above his right eye, writing, “I keep hearing comments of people saying I should retire or I’m going to retire soon or anything.”

“I have two fights left with Usyk for the undisputed, twice. I’m not retiring.”
Fury is the current WBC heavyweight champion; the WBA, IBF, and WBO titles will be up for grabs for his opponent, a Ukrainian.
After Lennox Lewis in 2000, the winner will be the first fighter in the division to go undefeated.
Even after facing Usyk, Fury maintains he has no plans to hang up his gloves and is instead aiming for an all-British bout with Anthony Joshua.
Although it hasn’t happened yet, a battle between the two has been eagerly awaited for many years.
The 35-year-old, however, revealed a plan for after the “Ring of Fire” event in Riyadh, saying that is a competition he is determined to make happen.
He added, “After the first beating I give Anthony Joshua, if he wants a rematch, I’m going to fight him at least once, maybe twice.”After that, I’ll battle Ngannou once more. That’s only the beginning.
“There are five fights available to pique your interest. I’m 35 years old and in the prime of my life; therefore, I’m not going anywhere.
