Concerns about Bruno Fernandes being hurt during Manchester United’s victory over Liverpool have subsided.

In an FA Cup thriller on Sunday, the Red Devils defeated fierce rivals Liverpool, setting up a winnable semi-final matchup with Championship team Coventry.

However, it was discovered after the game that Alejandro Garnacho has been dealing with a problem lately, as evidenced by the fact that Luke Shaw and Casemiro are currently on a lengthy injury list.

At least Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund made a comeback for the Old Trafford triumph.

Here is the most recent information on Man Utd injuries and expected return dates.

    Fernandes, Bruno

When United’s captain was forced to play as a substitute center-back in the last minutes of the team’s victory over Liverpool, he was clearly hobbling.

He has recently acknowledged, though, that he was experiencing cramps and fatigue during the additional time.

Possible return date: March 30, Saturday, vs Brentford

    Alejandro Garnacho

One of the heroes on Sunday was Alejandro Garnacho, who forced the save that allowed Scott McTominay to score the first goal and then set up Amad Diallo’s late winner.

After the match, the brother of the Manchester United player said that the winger had been experiencing hamstring pain in the lead-up to the match.

“Garnacho has trained two days this week due to a hamstring injury,” he wrote on X, the old home of Twitter. He continues to run for 120 minutes and provide the winning assist. You have my admiration, BIG BRO.

Ten Hag did not provide an update following the game, thus it is still unknown how serious the injury is.

Possible date of return: Not specified

    Luke Shaw

Due to a muscular issue, star defender Luke Shaw might not be able to play again this season.

A club statement from February stated, “Luke Shaw has sustained a muscle injury and will be out for an extended period of time.”

“More evaluation is required to ascertain the extent, but we anticipate his absence for several months.”

    Possible return date: Not specified

    Casemiro

Casemiro has been frustrated this season as he has missed 17 games due to various ailments.

Due to a muscular ailment, the incredibly skilled Brazilian midfielder was forced to miss Sunday’s match against Liverpool; it is unknown when he will be back.

“It affects us because Casemiro is a very experienced player who is crucial to our organization; he also brings composure to the team when he is on the ball and can make great passes to put our frontline in great positions, especially with the three and their incredible speed,” Ten Hag stated.

“You miss, of course, a passer like Casemiro.”

Possible date of return: Not specified

    Martinez Lisandro

Lisandro Martinez has missed a significant portion of the season due to injuries, just like Casemiro. The defender was anticipated to remain sidelined until April due to a knee injury sustained in February, but he has been called up to the Argentina squad for their friendlies against Costa Rica and El Salvador.

Possible date of return: April 2024
