Declan Rice, an Arsenal midfielder, and Bukayo Saka, a forward, have not yet resumed training due to injuries, according to manager Mikel Arteta.

the signing of After being replaced in the middle of last weekend’s 2-2 tie with Tottenham Hotspur due to back pain, Rice has spent the week sitting out alongside Saka, Leandro Trossard, and Gabriel Martinelli.

Declan hasn’t trained yet, but Arteta said in his pre-match press conference prior to Saturday’s trip to Bournemouth, “We’ll get more news about him.”

Arteta stated that Saka, Trossard, and Martinelli had all been absent this week, adding to Arsenal’s worries.

The Spaniard cited Gabi’s lack of training as well as Leo’s and Saka’s similar circumstances. They are all gathered in one pool. Fabio [Vieira] wasn’t harmed by Willy [William Saliba]’s knock. We must evaluate them right now.

Arteta continued by calling the Bournemouth match “the most important of the season” and claimed that, despite an approaching winners League match with Lens and a visit from Premier League winners Manchester City the following weekend, his whole attention is on getting ready for the Cherries.

Arteta expressed his wish that everyone would be well and available due to his busy schedule. “Whatever is coming in the next seven to ten days, we need them.”

Although they haven’t lost in the Premier League yet this year, Arsenal has dropped to fifth place in the standings, four points behind early leaders City.

    Arteta continues to laud Ramsdale
Since Arteta decided to switch Aaron Ramsdale out for David Raya for Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Everton, Ramsdale has drawn attention.

After maintaining a clean sheet in the north London derby and the Gunners’ return to the Champions League, Raya remained in goal. Ramsdale then returned to the lineup for Wednesday’s tight Carabao Cup victory against Brentford.

The boss has been impressed by Ramsdale’s attitude despite the transition, as evidenced by the fact that he was spotted cheering on Raya from the bench during the 2-2 draw with Tottenham.

“He’s been exceptional around the place with the situation,” Arteta said. “We definitely adore him more now. He’s here every day for us. We are incredibly thrilled to have him because we know him and his character.
