NEW ARIVAL: Eagles Signed A Prolific Young CB Into Their Ranks From Rival Team.

    tyler hall

Under Antonio Pierce, the Las Vegas Raiders roster is undergoing significant overhaul this summer, particularly in the offensive department. The squad lost a few players to free agency, but the defense is still mostly intact.

Tyler Hall, a cornerback, was the last to depart on March 21. The 25-year-old cornerback’s signing with the Philadelphia Eagles was announced.

Prior to joining the Raiders in 2022, Hall was signed by the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Over the course of two seasons, he participated in 18 games for the team, making six starts. The Raiders used to use him as a nickel cornerback when they would shift Nate Hobbs to the outside.

Hall was a productive player for the group and offered strong depth at cornerback. Given that Hobbs is moving on, Las Vegas will need to find another cornerback who can succeed in that role because of his strong play in the slot, which provided them with more options in how they employed Hobbs.

The Las Vegas Raiders have already lost seven free agents.

The Raiders have now lost seven unrestricted free agents that the team chose not to immediately release when Tyler Hall signed with the Eagles. Additionally, the team lost running back Josh Jacobs to the Green Bay Packers, defensive tackle Bilal Nichols to the Arizona Cardinals, offensive lineman Brandon Parker to the San Francisco 49ers, offensive tackle Austin Hooper to the New England Patriots, and cornerback Akik Robertson to the Detroit Lions.

They are significant losses for the Raiders because Jacobs, Eluemunor, Nichols, and Robertson all started more than ten games apiece in the previous campaign. Nevertheless, the organization did appoint Tom Telesco as its new general manager over the summer. He will assemble the roster in the manner of his choosing. Additionally, the team re-signed a few important free agents, including defensive tackles John Jenkins and Adam Butler.
