Spurs Sign Heat Ex Jamaree Bouyea to a Two-Way Deal, Per Report.
With Dominick Barlow’s two-way contract converted to a conventional deal, the San Antonio Spurs are expanding their roster with another two-way player.
The Spurs have formally signed former Miami Heat guard Jamaree Bouyea to a two-way contract, according to reports from Keith Smith of Spotrac. On March 1, Shams Charania first revealed that Bouyea will be joining the Spurs.
The San Antonio Spurs and Jamaree Bouyea have agreed to a two-year, two-way contract, according to a league source that Smith tweeted on Wednesday.
In the 2022 NBA Draft, San Francisco native Bouyea was not selected. He initially signed with the Miami Heat, but before the season began, he was waived and signed with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, Miami’s G League club.
On February 10, 2023, he made his NBA debut against the Houston Rockets after agreeing to a 10-day contract with the Heat. Later, Bouyea inked two separate deals with the Portland Trail Blazers and Washington Wizards.
