Hayden Bray, a senior at Oklahoma University, has decided to explore new opportunities as he enters the NCAA Transfer Portal during the spring period. Bray, initially a walk-on defensive lineman, transitioned to playing tight end last year, offering invaluable practice contributions to the team.

In a heartfelt message shared on Twitter, Bray expressed his gratitude to Sooner Nation for their unwavering support, as well as to coaches Brent Venables, Joe Jon Finley, and Jerry Schmidt for their impactful guidance. Despite joining OU as a member of the 2021 recruiting class, Bray’s journey from Westlake High School in Austin to Norman, Oklahoma, was marked by his decision to walk on to the team despite having received only one FBS offer from the Air Force Academy and a few offers from FCS programs.
