In order to take on the position of technical director for the Scottish club Rangers, Nils Koppen has resigned from his position as a scout with PSV Eindhoven.
PSV has been employing the 38-year-old worker as a recruiter since the year 2018. Nevertheless, he is currently departing for Rangers, which is located in Scotland, where he will take on a leadership role.
A close relationship will exist between Koppen and Philippe Clement, the manager of Rangers, and he will be in control of player recruitment while he is employed by the club.
Koppen, who will begin his new role on January 1, expressed his pleasure on the Rangers website, saying, “I am honored to be joining a club of Rangers’ stature in such a pivotal capacity.” Koppen will begin his new term on January 1. I look forward to working together with the recruiters in the years to come in order to make certain that we are successful in achieving our goals.
