The Cleveland Browns defeated the New York Jets on Thursday, sending them to the postseason.

The 38-year-old quarterback Joe Flacco maintained his remarkable return to the NFL by leading the Cleveland Browns to a 37-20 victory over the New York Jets and securing an unexpected postseason berth.

The Browns’ victory over the Jets on Thursday Night Football means they will now play in the postseason for the third time since 1999 and for the first time since 2020.

Cleveland’s victory was nevertheless marred by Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore’s early departure from the game due to a frightening head injury.
