As a sophomore, Togiai goes to Highland High School in Pocatello, Idaho. His coach is furious and dissatisfied with his team for not being able to effectively drill offense. Eventually, he has no more choices.

Togiai’s defensive line coach at Highland, Cade Ackley, asserted that there were other incidents like that one throughout his career. Even the football program that produced Taysom Hill, the quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, and several other Division I players could only be in awe of the kind and charming Togiai, who was a force to be reckoned with.
