With two games remaining in the season, the Commanders have decided to add Jake Fromm for depth, even though they’re not moving very quickly.

Sam Howell, who was benched in favor of Brissett in Week 16, is anticipated to start Sunday against the Niners.

On Sunday, the latter almost defeated the New York Jets in a comeback game, but the Commanders ultimately fell short 28–30.Meanwhile, Fromm has struggled in the NFL since being taken in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft and hasn’t played a snap in the last two years.

Now that he is back on the active roster, he will be hoping to see some action
