The Cowboys’ offense was potent in 2023, but they don’t have a trustworthy wide receiver following CeeDee Lamb. What these four receivers do might change that.
Important PointsBeyond CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys require further production at wide receiver. Both receivers Brian Thomas Jr. and Ricky Pearsall are great picks in the NFL Draft.Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins are both excellent options that are accessible through free agency and the trade market.
The Dallas Cowboys are among the NFL’s more complete teams. They seem to be a consistent playoff challenger and have a team that is largely well-rounded. Wide receiver is one position, though, where there is still opportunity for development.
Of course, everyone considers Dallas’ CeeDee Lamb to be one of the best receivers in the NFL. Other than him, though, Dallas has gotten next to nothing from the rest of its receiving room.
Not great stats, and Michael Gallup is currently a free agent. There is a huge void at wide receiver for the Cowboys because of Gallup’s absence, his poor performance last season, and their failure to sign a better player in free agency.
If Dallas signed these four receivers through free agency, trades, or the 2024 NFL Draft, it would lighten Lamb’s workload in 2024.

Following the receipt of an enigmatic tweet, wide receiver Stefon Diggs of the Buffalo Bills could be moved to four different teams. This list shows his top four destination spots.
Brian Thomas Jr.
Thomas, who can score from anywhere on the field, is one of the most explosive athletes in the draft.

The NFL Draft is the greatest football event of the year, and Dallas might select their next great wide out there. If the Cowboys have the chance, they will grab Brian Thomas Jr.
Thomas Jr. is a dependable deep threat because of his agility and ball-tracking skills. Because of his capacity to overpower fortifications at any moment, they might be forced to give Lamb space on routes below them. Thomas Jr. can evade defensive backs with his diversity of double moves and ability to change speed.
Lamb’s skill set would be much improved, and Thomas Jr. would bring a tremendous lot of diversity to the offensive. Though Lamb is a better route runner and the LSU graduate is a deeper threat, both guys are capable of overwhelming a defense. Dallas’ offense would gain a lot from having Thomas Jr., even if they might have to trade up a few picks to get him.
