Mike Tyson Just Announced His Departure Due
On July 20, a worldwide live sports event featuring Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson will be exclusively streamed on Netflix thanks to a partnership between Most Valuable Promotions and Netflix.
Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Netflix today announced their first-ever collaboration in a heavyweight boxing mega-event featuring Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) vs. The Problem Child, Jake “El Gallo” Paul (9-1, 6 KOs). On Saturday, July 20, 2024, Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson will be streamed live worldwide exclusively on Netflix from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, which has 80,000 seats.
The highly awaited fight of the year, Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson, is Paul’s second fight of 2024 after two spectacular knockout victories against professional boxers and Golden Glove winners, Ryan Bourland on Saturday, March 2, and Andre August in December 2023. In his journey to become a world champion, Paul has demonstrated remarkable progress as a boxer. However, he now faces Mike Tyson, one of the greatest and most lethal fighters of all time.
It’s unbelievable to imagine that I became well-known by taking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard during my second professional bout. Less than four years later, I’m going up against Tyson to see if I have what it takes to defeat one of the biggest iconic and most infamous fighters in boxing,” stated Jake Paul. “We’re going to stage the biggest fight in history, a live broadcast in the largest NFL stadium in the US on the largest streaming platform globally, after only 2.5 years of launching MVP. This is a credit to all we’ve accomplished in such a short amount of time.” You won’t want to miss this event whether you’re watching your first-ever fight or binge-watching it on Netflix, either team Paul or team Tyson, or a die-hard boxing enthusiast. I am thrilled to announce that on Saturday, July 20, all Netflix subscribers will be able to watch this incredible battle alongside the greatest boxer of all time, Mike Tyson. I want to be a world champion, and now I have the opportunity to prove it by taking on the greatest heavyweight champion in history, the most dangerous boxer ever, and the baddest man on the globe. This battle will last a lifetime.
One of the biggest stars in boxing history is Mike Tyson, the renowned former undisputed world heavyweight champion. At just 20 years old, the “Baddest Man on the Planet” is regarded as the youngest heavyweight champion in history, one of the greatest fighters of all time, and ESPN’s #1 hardest hitter in heavyweight history. His fierce fighting style and explosive strength propelled him to an incredible 37-fight winning streak, 33 of which came via knockout.
Mike Tyson declared, “I am really excited to get into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.” It will be exciting to watch what the desire and aspirations of a “child” combined with the expertise and skill of a GOAT can accomplish, since he has developed tremendously as a boxer over the years. It will be quite exciting to witness as it represents a full circle: I began his boxing career on the undercard of my bout with Roy Jones, and now I intend to put an end to him.
