Gisele Bundchen, the ex-wife of former NFL player Tom Brady, called their split “the death of my dream.”
In October of last year, the ex-NFL quarterback and Brazilian supermodel called it quits on their 13-year marriage.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Bundchen called claims that the split was brought on by Brady’s decision to reverse his retirement in order to play one more NFL season “extremely cruel” and “the strangest thing I’ve ever heard.”

The 42-year-old remarked, “It’s challenging because you assume your life was going to be a particular way, and you done everything you could, you know?
What has been stated is only a small part of a larger picture. It’s not quite that simple.
I will always support him because I have always done so. Believe me, if there’s anyone I want to see the happiest in the world, it’s him. I hope he achieves all of his aspirations. From my deepest heart, that is exactly what I desire.”
After declaring in a video message to his fans that he is retiring “for real,” Tom Brady looks on the verge of tears.
Brady played one more season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after announcing his retirement in February 2022. He then declared his retirement “for good” in an Instagram post last month.
