The Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback, Dak Prescott, welcomes his first child, a baby girl he calls MJ.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback welcomed a baby daughter into his family on Thursday. Because she was born on Leap Day, she will see her actual birthday every four years.
At a Children’s Cancer Fund event in Dallas on Monday, the 30-year-old Prescott told reporters, “I feel different,” and he added that fans can call his daughter MJ. When you see that baby when you get up in the morning, you understand that you have responsibilities. You’re far more interested in having it for someone else than you are in having everything I’ve ever wanted for yourself. It is indeed unique.
He stated that the youngster is “doing fantastic” and that all three of them are back at home with her mother, Prescott’s girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos.
Prescott claims that a “handful” of diapers—including the first one—have been changed, and he is now making an effort “to pass that duty down.”

The couple revealed that they were expecting their first child back in November. In honor of his mother, who died of cancer in 2013, the quarterback said he was thrilled to become a father.
“Yes, I’d like a female. He said, “I’m blessed and thankful,” at the time. My mother is my everything, so it makes me very happy to be able to nurture a little daughter. I relish each and every task.
