This is Denzel Washington and Spike Lee’s fifth collaboration together, on High and Low.The 1963 film of the same name by Akira Kurosawa, which centers on an executive whose son is abducted, is adapted as High and Low.The film will first be distributed in theaters by A24 and then transferred to Apple TV Plus.

Filming on Denzel Washington and Spike Lee’s fifth collaboration, High and Low, has officially begun. Akira Kurosawa’s 1963 film High and Low, which tells the tale of a shoe company president whose son is kidnapped and held for ransom, was released. Prior to the movie’s release on Apple TV Plus, A24 will handle distribution for the Lee remake, which was revealed earlier this year.

A24 has now officially announced that filming on High and Low has begun with a new post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
