Preppy is back, in case you missed the memo. At least according to Emma Watson, J. Crew, and Rowing Blazers, who recently wore a Prada ensemble so opulent that it appeared as though she had strolled straight off the immaculately manicured lawn of a suburban country club.

The actress was spotted in Milan on Wednesday, sporting a navy blue pencil skirt with big gold buttons on the front and a clean white button-up. The ensemble was finished with pointy-toed ivory sling-back kitten heels and a chic white Prada shoulder purse. Watson adhered to the country club-approved style by wearing her matching white cardigan around her shoulders instead of placing her arms through the sleeves—in the waspish world of suburbia, this is virtually a rite of passage.

Watson went for a very natural makeup look, just using mascara and a light pink lip color, and styled her caramel lob in a gently tousled side part.

The celebrity is in Milan to watch tomorrow’s runway show for Prada. Reportedly, Watson will be seated in the front row for Miuccia Prada and Raf Simmons’s show tomorrow. Watson recently partnered with the brand to make her directing debut with a film promoting its fragrance, Paradoxe.

Along for the trip, Watson also took her cute dog Sofia, which Vogue reported she adopted in Mexico last year. They were pictured going for a stroll with her off-leash pet, whom she described in an Instagram post as more of a “angel” than a canine.

Watson stopped in London last week to attend Vogue World: London with celebrities like Sienna Miller, Gemma Chan, Princess Eugenie, Jodie Turner-Smith, and others before she took off for Milan.
