What offensive coordinator Zac Robinson of the Falcons stated

It will take several moDespite not having a name yet (as there isn’t one yet), thenths to complete. new offensive coordinator for the Falcons can impart the traits he values in a quarterback who succeeds in the league.
Robinson worked closely with a few quarterbacks throughout his five seasons with the Rams, all of whom were at different stages of their careers and personal growth. We’re talking about past first-round picks, undrafted free agents, journeyman Baker Mayfield, Matthew Stafford, who is desperate for a Super Bowl, and Jared Goff in his last seasons with the Rams. Since Robinson joined the team in 2019, the Rams have most likely gone through any prototype at quarterback at some point.
Through those constantly evolving encounters, Robinson has gained a great deal of knowledge, and certain traits become particularly apparent while discussing a signal caller.
“That has to be the most competitive guy in the room when you look at that position,” Robinson remarked. They must possess both physical and mental toughness. They must possess cognitive abilities. They must be capable of thought. They must possess accurate football throwing skills. They must have a throw inventory, including touch and pace. When needed, they must be able to operate it.”
Naturally, Robinson continued, they must also possess composure.
Robinson stated, “They have to possess competitive greatness.” “In the NFL, these games are really close. In the most stressful situations, you need a guy who wants to hold the ball in his hands.”
Robinson left every door open, as have Morris, Fontenot and Blank. The organization isn’t going to be showing its cards any time soon. In fact, perhaps those cards haven’t even been fully dealt yet, according to what Blank said last Friday in his teleconference with local Atlanta media.
The plan is still being formed. It should be noted, though, that there are specific indicators and baselines the coaching staff is looking for when evaluating available quarterbacks this offseason.
“Those are the qualities that we’ll look for in terms of somebody that can lead this time,” Robinson said in conclusion. “(I’m) excited to get that process going with everybody. We’ve got some great guys that have been around the quarterback room, whether they’ve played it, coached it. Raheem and I spent a lot of time the last three years talking about quarterbacks, so it’ll be a great process.”
