Seahawk owner Jody Allen, have sold out the team.
According to Mark Maske of the Washington Post, there is a growing belief in the league that the Seahawks “might not be sold until at least 2025.” A few people “thought the franchise would be sold the next year.
According to the provisions of a 1997 referendum that paid for the building of what is now known as Lumen Field, the Seahawks would “owe 10 percent of the sale price” to the state of Washington if it is sold before May.
Some observers had considered that to be a “prospective beginning point for the sale process,” and it “no longer applies thereafter.” There are others in the NFL who express anticipation that Jeff Bezos, the creator of Amazon, will be engaged in the bidding for the Seahawks.
The Washington Post’s owner, Jeff Bezos, “explored an offer for the Commanders but never made one.” As per a source, Jody Allen, the owner of the team, has not indicated to anyone in the NFL that she plans to sell the Seahawks anytime soon.
