The Pittsburgh Steelers land Justin Fields in a very reasonable trade.
Justin Fields and the Pittsburgh Steelers are two teams to start keeping a careful eye on. The idea that Pittsburgh would acquire the quarterback from the Chicago Bears has gained traction over the past several days, and a plausible trade is currently being floated.
Pro Football Focus released their anticipated offseason roster, which begins with the Steelers acquiring Fields.
According to PFF, the Steelers will send Fields to Chicago in exchange for a 2024 second-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick. Pittsburgh would pick up his fifth-year option in 2025 and the last year of his rookie contract in 2024.
With 2022 first-round quarterback Kenny Pickett failing to live up to expectations, Pittsburgh is one team searching for a real quarterback competition this offseason.
