Braves Take the Lead in Baseball: Nine Spots in the MLB Network “Top 100”
The Braves seem to have the best roster of any MLB team on paper, with Ronald Acuña Jr. having only the fifth 40/40 season in history (and doing it in dominant fashion), Spencer Strider leading the league in winning percentage, strikeouts, and strikeout rate, and James tying the record for the most home runs in a season.
MLB Network has validated our evaluation by featuring nine Braves players in their ‘Top 100’ countdown.
As expected, Ronald Acuña Jr. emerged as the number one player, becoming just the fourth different person to do so in the previous ten years.
Ronald expressed his gratitude for his rating by discussing the #1 slot (in English) on the MLB Network after being chosen.
Ronald responded succinctly when asked what he needed to do to maintain his top spot on the list for the following year: “I need to stay healthy and play how I play—like last year.” However, he also stated that 2023 wasn’t even his ultimate form, adding that his goal for 2024 was quite straightforward: “I just want to stay healthy and strive to improve from last year.”
Two players from Atlanta’s rotation and six of Ronald’s teammates were also honored in the countdown.

#66: Two-B Ozzie Albies is ranked #66 in all of baseball, not in the top 10 at his position. Indeed, that makes perfect sense.
