Real Madrid is putting up a strategy to help Arda Guler get over his injury issues after watching his debut get further postponed.
Guler joined from Fenerbahce this summer to much fanfare, but the Turkish teenager has been out ever since. He initially developed a knee issue that required surgery, then a new thigh condition prolonged his absence from the field.
Guler has already struggled with a number of fitness issues in his short career. Madrid is looking into a long-term solution, and AS reports that a plan is being developed to assist Guler in overcoming his troubles.
The medical team in Madrid is anticipated to use a strategy similar to the one utilized with Rodrygo when he arrived from Brazil at the age of 18 and concentrate on bulking up Guler’s slim frame.
The teenager’s aim is to send Guler to the weight room because his physique is referred to as “that of a child” and it is implied that he is not yet strong enough to handle high-level senior football.
Rodrygo experienced numerous hamstring problems in the beginning of his Madrid career, but since November 2021, he hasn’t experienced any significant fitness issues, which has allowed him to establish himself as a key player for the Spanish giants.
Guler, who attracted attention during preseason practice before suffering his initial knee injury, has high hopes.
He has remarkable talent for his age, as colleague Toni Kroos recently remarked. “His left foot is extremely, very excellent. And he will do so repeatedly. He is very technical and has a superb left foot shot, especially in confined situations.
“I believe it to be a pretty good, wise signing, particularly for the future.”
