The NFL Honors ceremony, which honored the league’s most amazing season to date, captivated the crowd. The evening, which was hosted by the gregarious Keegan-Michael Key, celebrated the finest aspects of football and included the presentation of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024 as well as the prestigious Associated Press NFL awards.
As the winners were revealed, excitement erupted in Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas. Notable honors like the AP Coach of the Year and Most Valuable Player created a lot of buzz. Myles Garrett, the formidable defensive end for the Browns who won the TCL-sponsored AP Defensive Player of the Year award, was one of the standouts.
Rising talents were also honored. C.J. Stroud, the explosive quarterback for the Texans, won the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award, and his defensive end teammate Will Anderson Jr. took home the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year title.
The energy was high as fans relived season highlights like Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb’s amazing catch against the Lions, which was named the Next Gen Stats Moment of the Year, powered by AWS.
Off-field achievements were also recognized, with USAA presenting the Salute to Service Award to Joe Cardona, the Patriots’ dependable long snapper.
