On August 25, Ryan Reynolds sent a heartfelt ode to his wife Blake Lively, expressing his “love, appreciation, and awe I feel for this person” in honor of her 36th birthday.
Ultimately, the Deadpool actor revealed everything in a sentimental ode to his spouse on her 36th birthday.
In an Instagram post from August 25, Ryan shared pictures of the pair over the years and stated, “The only thing permanently mine in the world is the love, gratitude, and wonder I feel for this person.”
He went on, “I couldn’t take witnessing her life for granted if I tried,” before adorably making fun of the former Gossip Girl cast member and saying, “And believe me, I try.”
The 46-year-old continued, saying, “@blakelively, happy birthday. You hung the fucking moon.
Indeed, for Ryan and Blake, who were married in 2012, this has been a significant year. Just before the Super Bowl in February, the couple had their fourth child, giving their children James, 8, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3, a new sister.

During an appearance on CNBC’s Power Lunch that same month, Ryan said of growing his family with Blake, “Look, we wouldn’t do this four times if we didn’t love it.” “We’d be in real trouble if we hadn’t worked it out by now.”
Ryan wouldn’t have it any other way, despite his joking at the time that the advent of baby No. 4 had turned the home into a “zoo.”
“Everyone is doing fantastic,” he said. “Actually, everyone is doing really well.”
Blake actually expanded her company after having birth; this summer, she added the sparkling cocktail label Betty Booze to her expanding Betty Buzz beverage empire. In her debut announcement, she even acknowledged the youngest member of the family, quipping in a way that is both her and Ryan’s distinctive, “These are dishes I’ve been creating for loved ones for years.” But now I have four children. I’m also worn out. And so they are. within a can. Have Fun Sensibly..ish.”
