Oakland head coach adds four Giant players .
Snow spent nine of his sixteen Major League seasons with the Giants, with whom he participated in the 2002 World Series.
Snow released a statement saying, I’m happy to be able to take on this new job with this young Oakland squad. I’ve always wanted to return to coaching, so the chance to work with and develop young players in the Bay Area was very appealing to me. I’m glad to contribute to the front office’s endeavors to create the best player program in independent baseball, as I’ve been informed.
Along with Miles, who serves as the infield coach, pitching coach Ray King, and assistant hitting coach Dondrei Hubbard, Snow becomes a member of Ballers manager Micah Franklin’s staff.
Considering how much expertise J.T. brings to the table, I’m thrilled to have him on board. He will play a key role in the professional-winning culture that we hope to establish with this Ballers squad. Ballers senior vice president of baseball operations, Don Wakamatsu, stated, I’m happy to be able to give him this opportunity to get back into the dugout. I’ve already had some excellent chats with him.
Snow is the son of former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Jack Snow and was raised in Long Beach.
