ANN ARBOR: With so many key players returning to Michigan after last year’s College Football Playoff appearance, the Wolverines didn’t have many holes to fill this offseason.
Additionally, they were active on the transfer portal, landing some players with an instant impact. Boasting an experienced roster, Michigan is undefeated heading into the CFP for a second straight season. Unlike last year, when several freshmen had prominent roles on the team, Michigan hasn’t needed to utilize as many true freshmen in 2023.
